Spice Up Learning With PowerPoint Games and Templates

Are you tired of delivering the same ole boring lecture that puts your students to sleep? Or worst, causes them to open up Kindle.  Sure you try to spice it up with group discussions and town halls, but to really step it up in adult education, you need to provide games!

I want to share with everyone a website that provides free PowerPoint game templates.  Click here to access PowerPointgames where you will find templates galore, from Jeopardy (my favorite) to Family Feud.

A word of caution -- make sure you select a game that doesn't eat away at your time.  I once considered using Wheel of Fortune in one of my classes but the idea that I would have to spend 15-30 seconds per spin forced me into another direction.  The class was a required continuing education class with limited time. But I have to admit I liked the idea.  In fact, if you like the idea of using a Wheel of Fortune-type format, there are three online sites that provide them:  Ebay, Amazon, and Trainer's Warehouse.  A word of caution - always add your shipping costs before you buy.  This is a trick of many sellers that you should be aware of.

I hope this tip makes for more exciting training programs.

Yours in Learning,
JM
